We hope you’ll be able to participate in our October 2020 Walk & Roll for SCI!
The goal of this year’s event is to continue to raise awareness and spirits for people living with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). We were so proud of the >$100K we were able to raise in 2019 for TIRR Foundation’s assistive technologies, but in these trying times, we are putting fundraising efforts on hold, and focusing on celebrating the SCI community, from a safe distance.
If you are able to walk, scoot, bike, skate, roll, etc. with us on October 17th, we’d love to see you on Facebook Live, but feel free to get moving at your convenience now through October 31!
“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” –Christopher Reeve
You can walk and roll any day before October 31, but if you’re looking for some camaraderie, join us on October 17th between 9am-noon, anywhere that is convenient for you.
Feel free to participate from anywhere safe and convenient for you and your family. Visit our Facebook page for a few 1-mile route suggestions in different neighborhoods. (note that these are not official race routes and no streets will be blocked off!)
